artist Gregory Seán Sheehan.
Sheehan´s chosen theme is Landscape. Not landscapes in
the geographical sense but nevertheless strongly linked to the
Terra Firma of the Dublin and Wicklow mountains as well as
all things arboreal.
The use of turf as a medium gives Sheehan´s work not only a
structural strength but it also engages in a dynamic dialogue
between color, form and content. His work invokes evocative
associations creating rich pictorial and narrative densities.
Currently based in Germany, Gregory Seán Sheehan has
exhibited widley at home and abroad.
