The Kuenstlerhaus mit Galerie e.V. opened it´s
first exhibition this year on March 7th with
Gregory Seán Sheehan´s
"Arboreta cogitata etdepinta".
The 55 paintings and objects on show date mainly
from 2009. The works build strongly on Sheehan´s
previous themes, elaborating on the textural and
metaphysical aspects of turf.
The exhibition was officially opened by the Kuenstler-
haus director Norbert Baensch. His speach was
followed by an introductory talk by the art historian
Anja Marrack.
